Terms of Service

NexusBuild helps small business owners understand, reclaim, and take control of their websites. The service includes: scanning your site using publicly available information, plain-English reports, a guided handoff process, migrating your website onto NexusBuild hosting, hosting it, and letting you edit it by describing changes in plain English (AI editing).

You need an account to use most features. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and have the authority to act for the business whose website you connect.

You may only scan, migrate, or manage websites and accounts that you own or are authorized to act for. When you provide logins or authorize a migration, you confirm you have the right to do so. We may suspend accounts that connect property that isn't theirs.

Logins you give us are encrypted immediately and stored in our vault. We use them only for the purpose you gave them to us for (for example, copying your site from your current host), only after you have signed an explicit authorization, and every access is logged. We never display stored passwords back in plain text.

When you authorize a migration, we copy your website's files and database from your current host and run your site on NexusBuild infrastructure. You keep full ownership of your website, your content, and your domain. The one step we may need from you is pointing your domain's DNS to us (or you can give us access and we'll handle it).

We take nightly backups of hosted sites and keep a version history of changes, but no backup system is perfect; keep copies of anything irreplaceable.

AI edits are made by an AI model following your written request. Every edit is saved as a version you can roll back with one click. AI can misunderstand; review changes to your live site, and use the version history if something isn't right. Monthly AI edit allowances depend on your plan.

Scanning and reports are free. Hosting and AI editing are paid, billed monthly through Stripe at the prices shown on our pricing page. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime; changes take effect at the next billing cycle. If you cancel, we'll help you export your site (files and database) at no charge. No lock-in is a promise, not a slogan.

Don't use NexusBuild for anything illegal, to host malware or spam, to infringe others' rights, or to attack or probe systems you don't own. We can suspend or terminate service for violations, with a refund of any unused prepaid time unless the violation was serious.

We work hard to keep hosted sites online and data safe, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits.

You can close your account anytime. We'll give you your site export and then delete your stored credentials and data within 30 days (backups age out on their own schedule). We can end service with 30 days' notice, in which case we'll help you move off at no charge.
